Waste

CitronFuel™ is derived from non-organic waste streams primarily including plastics, paper, and wood. The streams are received from haulers, MRFs (Material Resource Facilities) and original generators. Citron Energy, Inc. is paid a tipping fee to accept the waste.

Numerous benefits of using waste are reduced landfill usage, reduced costs to dispose, and the fulfillment of generators’ increasing demand for a “zero waste” disposal option.

The U.S. generates approximately 300mm tons of waste a year. Only 12% of plastics are recycled annually.
